St. Louis-MO; On Thursday April 30th, at 6:pm the Florissant Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, will present a screening of the film, “Beyond Just Us: Restorative Justice in St. Louis”. The highly acclaimed film explains the complication of the restorative justice system in the St. Louis area. Restorative justice focuses not only on the impact of the crime on the victim, but also on the alleged perpetrator, and the community where the crime was occurred. After the film, a discussion will take place on the issues that were raised in the film. Light refreshments will be served to those in attendance. The film is free and open to the public.
